Cadets from 1113 (Berkhamsted) Squadron were invited to Ashlyns School on Thursday 6 October 2011 to talk to parents and prospective students at the school's annual Open Evening.
1113 Sqn has close links with Ashlyns which allows the Cadets and Staff to use the school facilities.
Plt Off Whelan RAFVR(T) was very please with the evening: "One of the main aims of the Squadron is to raise the profile of the Air Training Corps in the local community, so this was a key event for us. The Cadets were a credit to the ATC handing out literature and engaging parents and students by talking about all the activities the Corps has to offer."
